Inspiring TEDx talks about and for alumni
New additions this year!
Dear Friends,
Ideas Worth Spreading. This is the TED tagline.
What if we took this tagline and celebrated the work of our alumni (and alumni-to-be?). TEDx talks on university campuses are common. Seminar, webinars, symposia, conferences can also share and celebrate the incredible work of our alumni.
In celebration of my own TEDx at 7 years old (where did that time go?) here are a few other inspiring TEDx talks:
1 - NEW! Networking: Change your default settings - Paul Nazareth - TEDxUofT
2 - 'Why should University Engage with their Graduates?' - Nathalie Trott - TEDxQueensUniversityBelfast
3 - Lifelong Employability Philippa Dengler - TEDxZurich
4 - How to Graduate College with a Job you Love & Less Debt Jullien Gordon - TEDxMidwes
Your challenge this week:
Do YOU have an idea worth spreading? Consider ways of sharing this with fellow alumni (or identifying alumni with cool ideas to share with the university community).
I’ll be taking a break from newsletters for the next fortnight - so keep the cogs moving, generate ideas and don’t forget to spread them!
Yours with alumni ideas,
Maria
